We are seeking your support in a heartfelt mission to reunite a family separated by distance and financial circumstance. Their journey has been marked by love, resilience, and perseverance, but the challenges they have been facing have become overwhelming. They are seeking assistance with raising charitable donations for flights to bring their family to the United States.

This request for support comes from Arielle Tiamiyu, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Here is her story:
"My father is from Nigeria, my mother from the United States. In the late 1980s, my dad came to the U.S. and met my mother. They fell in love and had me (Arielle). When I was 5 my parents divorced and my Dad had to return back to Nigeria at that time.
It wasn't until I was in my early 20s that I was able to reconnect with my father. I had to work many jobs and petitioned for him to come the United States. During this time that I was working to reconnect with my father, I was also taking care of my mother with cancer, who eventually passed away. On top of all of this, I was a mother myself with one child, and eventually had another.
In 2016, my Dad was approved to come to the U.S., since his arrival him and I have worked very hard. He worked as a truck driver until he suffered a pulmonary embolism in 2021 and has had health issues ever since.
While taking care of my family and being a mother, I completed college and stayed busy with work. I have worked for local hospitals and shelters in my community and am now employed in the public sector. Now due to recent governmental changes, the landscape of my employment seems uncertain.
My father and I have been working very hard to bring my siblings and his wife here, it's been over 7 years since we filed and the approvals are quickly approaching. My fear is that after all this work the visas could be forfeit if we cannot physically get my family to the U.S.
There's been many unanticipated emergencies last year that sucked our money dry. Like everyone else in the U.S. we're just trying to make it. EVERYONE deserves a family and deserves to live peacefully. My family members, with the exception of the youngest minor, will all have work visas and green cards upon their arrival to the U.S. and I know together we will be able to support each other and live life as a family. It's just a matter of them getting here!
I love my family very much, we're grateful for anything anyone would decide to give to help. Our community has faced financial constraints and it has been hard to know who to even ask for help. We appreciate everyone's consideration and even prayers for us and the rest of the world.
My families last appointment at the embassy is scheduled for April 14th, 2025."
Donations for this cause will go towards raising the funds required to purchase commercial airline tickets for Arielle's family members. This will cost around $6,800!
